Abit BX133 RAID

I've heard good things about this motherboard - but i have a few questions.

1) Is there AGP 4X?
2) Since there is only a 1/1 or 2/3 agp divider, will this mean that a geforce2 card will have stability problems running out of spec @89mhz?
3) Will it support a p3 1ghz 133 processor?

anyone else have this board? Any recommendations/warnings?

2)If you set up your mobo correctly,you should have no problem. Abit is very flexable.

Here is the Abit Site that has the specs on the BX133 raid.

I have the board and I am installing it now with an ATI all-in wonder card for video editing. I will use the 1 gig PIII and 512 ram. Should do the trick.

It is the fastest,meanest BX chipset board on the planet. It won many awards. I am confident it will not disappoint me. All my systems are Abit,from my server to my office machines. They have been rock solid.

There is no perceptible difference between AGP 2x and 4x, as far as I know.

One caveat about the BX chipset though, your overclocking options will be somewhat limited due to the synchronous memory (memory bus always at same speed as the FSB)and the AGP divider.

If you are simply aiming for whatever speed you can manage at 133 FSB, then it shouldn't be a problem. The BX chipset is compatible with virtually everything, and the BX-133 is a great board!

I am currently running the Abit BX133. The lack of flexible AGP multipliers appears to be a problem, so I purchased a PCI video card with very good results. But I am not a gamer. I easily OC the Celeron 566 to over 950. I found my WD drives more cooperative than my Maxtor drives, however. Both work, but, for me, one wrong setting with the Maxtor drives and boommmmmmmmmmmm - it's restore time!
