nope...
here do this
In order to flash update the BIOS, you will need 2 files:
1) the BIOS binary file,
2) the AWDFLASH.EXE utility file.
Create a directory or folder in the C drive: and name it BIOS
Download the BIOS file you need i.e. BH6GY.EXE, and download the AWDFLASH.EXE into the new BIOS directory. (the latest revision
always covers the updates from previous revisions so you don't need to "step-upgrade!")
Execute the BIOS file, then it will automatically self-decompress into a binary file, i.e. BH6_GY.BIN. You can execute the file by double
clicking it inside Windows Explorer, or run it under DOS.
Take a piece of paper and write down AWDFLASH.EXE and the name of the BIOS binary file.
Shut down your computer properly, then turn it off.
Restart your computer, press the Delete key to go into the BIOS and DISABLE the following:
1. CPU internal Cache
2. CPU External Cache
3. Video BIOS Cacheable
4. System BIOS Cacheable
5. Video BIOS Shadow
Please save it and exit the BIOS.
Restart the computer, press down Ctrl + F5, just before Windows booting up, for a clean boot, you will get the message "Windows is
bypassing all your startup files" and you end up at the DOS prompt.
Type in "cd BIOS" to go into your newly created directory.
Type AWDFLASH newbios.bin /py /cc /sn /cd, where newbios.bin is the file name for the BIOS binary file you want your BIOS to
upgrade to.
For example, updating BH6 (bh6_gy.bin), you would type: AWDFLASH bh6_gy.bin /py /cc /sn /cd

should work just fine!

Hit the F8 key and hold it before windows starts, this will give you the option to go to the Dos prompt as in drive C: change it to drive A: and flash your Bios
There is an eisier way though, just format a system disk, remove doublespace.bin and copy your award flash and the bios to the disk, reboot and it will automatically take you to the A: prompt.
Just type awdflash and enter the name of the bios such as bhy_.bin or whatever the bios filename is and it will ask you to flash, type y and whala. don't do anything, hit reboot or keys until it's finished flashing. It will say reset when it's done.

Thanks Billyjak,
I'll try that, so far I have done 15 differant way and still I can't get it to work right ???

I flashed it last year and it was a no brainer but for some reason, Abit has made it very difficult to do. I have read on a lot of web pages about people having troubles flashing their bios... oh-well!!!

I tempted to just go out and buy another mobo and drop this anomoly..big time...
