I own a BH6 mobo and use it with a celeron 300a@450mhz.....I recently updated the bios to SP ....now heres where it gets wierd...the BH6 I have does NOT say it is a 1.1 or whatever..just a plain BH6 stamped on the mobo between the slots...ok fine and well..BUT the bios it was using was an older one from the 1.1 rev so I updated with the newest from that rev anyways..works fine...now I want to get a new celeron 633 and OC it to 950mhz...but this bios I installed only states 600,667,700,and stuff...the one I see that others use and the one that states 633mhz is rev SS..but its for the normal BH6..what mine is SUPPOSED to be but does'nt seem to be...well I dloaded that bios and tried to install it and it says something about wrong hardware and wont install............SOoOooooooo..the main thing here...am I screwed as to getting the celeron 633 to work on my board/bios????...do I need a new board or will it be ok on this one?...if its a new board I may just go the duron route....any help here would be GREATLY apreciated since I plan to order my new chip/slocket/gorb in 2 weeks time..thank you all.
PS Im also posting this in the cpu/OC forum for complete coverage.

No, don't worry about it. Your board may not report the correct frequency, but it will run fine. The CPU sets the multiplier, all you can set is the FSB.

Now flashing an original BH6 with a rev 1.1 BIOS... Hmmm... Anyone else done this?

I sure hope so...im only going the celeron route hoping to save $$$ and also to hit 950mhz(knowing full well that will = about a PIII800)...hope that Golden Orb helps...my 300a@450 uses stock hsf/core voltage..lucked out..can only hope for same on new one.
