Abit BF6 keyboard sometimes doesn't work

Every so often my keyboard stops working. I have to unplug and plug it back on a few times. I have tried another keyboard,and that one did the same thing. I'm using the regular ps2 connector. Has anyone else seen this or have a fix??

same prob, totally different mobo. actually, it used to do it on my old mobo too, except only when using IE. With newer mobo it only ever does it in games. TBH i'd rather it screw up IE :s

seen a couple of threads on same thing pop up occasionally on here, noone has a clue what the problem is. I feel fairly sure it happened less with a diff keyboard i had, possibly because its one of those rubbish ones where you cant press crouch, strafe and reload at the same time :|

Have you tried a USB keyboard?

No I havn't. I'm using linux with it, so I'm not sure if I can use a usb keyboard?
