Abit BE6-II..how do i boot off IDE3 in W2k

I cna't seem to make my hd boot when i put it in IDE3. I keep getting a NTLDR error....i even tried installing the drivers in ide1 first...

I think you need to install the High Point ATA66 drivers (make a floppy) during the installation process of Win2k (Press F6 for additional drivers...) . I also think the installation files (during the copying process) should not be on that same drive, but on a drive that is not hooked on the HPT controller; so you need to specify that. Correct me if I am wrong!
