Abit BE6-II and Windows XP

Has anyone successfully installed XP on this mobo? The upgrade advisor tells me the HPT 366 controller is incompatible, and stops me from performing an "upgrade" installation. I want to make sure someone has managed to install XP (even using the W2K drivers) before I wipe my drive and do a "clean" install.

It works just fine.

Go get the Win2k driver for yout HPT366 and you're all set.

Great news, thanks! Now I just have to go through all of the hd backup crap so I can do a clean install...
