Abit BE6-II 133mhz FSB / PCI Divider support?

Anyone out there know if the Abit BE6-II has good support for 133mhz FSB including the 1/4 PCI divider? (not the BE6-II v2)
My friend has this board and wants to upgrade his CPU, I found a 1ghz P3 @133mhz wondering if he will be able to run it (assume his AGP card will have no problem with the overclock).

My old Abit BH6 v1 didn't have this support, and another friend of mine has an Abit BF6 which does, I'm just not sure about the BE6-II and the Abit website doesn't offer much assistance

Thanks.

My BE6-II was running @ 140fsb with a P3-700E for about a year until the agp port crapped out.

Yep, does the 1/4 divider on the 133fsb....
Shouldn't have any problems running it @133...

Hmm, turns out he has BE6 not BE6-II, does the 1/4 PCI divider still work?

Also can you run a Slot 1 coppermine in these BX boards? When coppermine came out I thought the only way to use it was to use a FCPGA in a Slot converter board, unless you had a newer i820 (?) slot1 board

The BE6-II has 1/4 pci divider support, the older BE6 does not. Remember, no BX chipset has a 1/2 agp divider so your AGP will be out of spec.

Thanks rogue, thats exactly the info I was looking for. Did you just happen to know this or did you find that info somewhere?

I guess the only question now is if I can use a P3 1ghz@100 Slot or Socket ...

I think that was the major upgrade of the newer BE6-II, 1/4 pci divider support and coppermine support.

Hmm I ran a s370 coppermine slocketed in my original BH6 (1.0) which supposedly did *not* support coppermine, however it didn't support 1/4 PCI so I couldn't overlcock past 100 reliably.... Like I said before, it was my understanding that older BX boards (BH6v1.0/BE6) could run a coppermine @ 100 as long as it was a slocketed s370 chip, NOT a slot1 coppermine. (something to do with voltage support)
