Abit BE6-2 and IBM 75GXP, are they compatible?

I want to get this HD but I want to know if it will work on my motherboard using the HPT 366 controller. Does it work in UDMA 4 mode? What Abit BIOS and HPT drivers are you using? TIA.

The latest BE Bios update the HPT to v125, make sure to get also the v125 software drivers and update them (the bios and drivers are available on Abit support site).
In system properties under SCSI open the controller tab, and use the update driver button.

I am using the BE with an IBM HD (not the same one that you have), had no problem.
