Abit AX8 V2.0 X2 Support????

According to Abit's Website in Taiwan. Version 2 of Abits AX8 will support X2 Processors. Has anybody confirmed this at all. Is there a new version of the K8T890??? Thanks

Not sure, but as far as I've heard the K8T890 isn't X2 compatible. There could be some sort of firmware (chipset) updates that fix this though. Why don't you look at the AN8 instead of the AX8? AFAIK, it's the same price almost. AN8's $103 and I'm sure it's a better board/better overclocker than the AX8.

Look for version 2.0. V.20 will support dual-core CPU.

Nforce4 has some compatibility issues(quirks) with some of the software I use(Cubase, Music Software), The via doesnt. For a gaming only machine, I would use NForce4 in a minute.
