Abit AX8 - release date?

Does anyone have word on when the Abit AX8 is going to be released? I thought it was supposed to be November/December...

I have been following this board too. There is apparently trouble with VIA getting enough of it's k8t890 chips out for mass production of motherboards that are based on it. Also, Abit is in a bit of a dilemma in the financial department right now. . .seems there are maybe some "accounting irregularities." There is a chance that their upcoming AN8 based on the nForce 4 chipset could materialize in stores before we see the AX8 since we know the nForce chips are at least out there already. That is if Abit survives.

The problems with the chipset seem to be finally over. The ASUS board is available in several vendors as of late last week, the Soltek is expected in 1 or 2 weeks and I'm sure ABIT's is just around the corner.

As for ABIT's financial situation, they have reached an agreement with their creditors.
