Abit AS8 Not Powering Up

AS8 Won't Power Up
Greetings everyone...

I've got an issue. I just purchased the Abit AS8 mobo along with an Intel 3.4ghz processor (550J, obviously 775).

I'm using the ram that I have used in my last two computers (I build them frequently). Geil ddr400 (2 x 512mb). I'm also using an ATI X800 Pro video card and an Enermax Noisetaker 450 watt PSU.

I cannot for the life of me get the thing to power on. I've tried virtually everything I can think of...taking the board out of the case (Lian Li PC-61) so I can get a good look at the connectors...switching the polarity in case I had them backwards for some reason...everything. I can see the board has power because the lights are on and the LCD is showing 00, but it will not start up. I am convinced it's not the switch because I'm now on the third mobo/cpu combo in this case so I know it works (plus I leave my PC on all the time so I know I didn't wear the thing out.

Does anyone have any experience with this issue? I've build probably 15 computers in my life and I have yet to run across this issue. I have never had an Abit board so I'm curious if there are some things that may be unique to the brand that I haven't found in the manual.

Thank you in advance.

Nevermind...I accidentally left a mounting post on the bottom (after changing boards) and it was shorting it out. I feel dumb...
