1 Yr. Retail Warranty? Thats sad they don't trust their product to last longer than that :( The board looks great, but I wouldn't trust it with that kind of warranty. Maybe it's a typo?

Ouch I think I will pass. I was considering it but if thats true then thats not good. Your right I think if a company gives something 90 day warranty or 1 year they wouldnt trust it to last long.

Curious how long does DFI,MSI,ect offer?

abits high charging that much for a single slot PCIe board. $200!!! You can get DFI Ultra, easily modded to SLI even for $150. No to mention it's built better.

How is it "built better"? Obviously Abit is charging for the name as well, just as much any shoe company charges premiums for shoes they name after a sports player. However the way the board is built its obvious the Abit is built to be a major overclocker. I wouldn't be suprised if it bests DFI's boards, but at what cost?

The $50 price premium I don't agree with, there's really no reason to go with this over the DFI unless this gets you that much more performance. The $50 difference pretty much covers the best heatsink you can buy, although neither board is really a "poor mans" board.

I'm going to have to disagree with this, at least until I see the first AN8's dying. ;)
DFI mobos (Infinity and LP) have always been built to give higher MHz, but I wouldn't say they're better built.

Agreed. Some people want a reliable, good performing motherboard at stock speeds. Not everyone is concerned with OC'ing.
