Interest in listening to music. Wonder why

Dual-Chamber-Syringe.jpg

Regardless of losing all that, I still keep a decent mood by supplementing with 5htp and drinking lots of coffee. Interest in music has never been stronger. Tho I feel kind of left out when a lot of the threads here are about movies and TV. I have Netflix account but it's just not the same. Regardless, I actually look forward to my shots now

On a sideways now, I do think integration disorder is a capitalistic illness.

Don't feel like bothering him. I pick up scripts from him once a month. I basically just go in and out of his office, he's busy

Busy with what? Busy with patients that are more important than you?

He's not. Worried. About me. I expressed stability in his office time and time again

Tbh reason I made this thread is cause just bored and thought I'd showcase what is going through my bloodstream at this moment

Besides that, is it fun?

I used to really like taking drugs. Not totally sure why I don't anymore.

His job is to look after your well being. If he's not doing his job you should find someone who will.

Used to believe this wasn't a recreational drug. But now I see stability is very recreational. Don't really have to explain why

Good luck if this is legit. I'm uncomfortable with this thread. Gonna duck out before I type something ignorant/insensitive.

My theory?

The mindless escapist entertainment was self-medication. You actually like music.

Good luck to ya.

Music is a form of escapism as well. If watching a movie or playing a video game is mindless, music would be as well. In fact I can think of some video games that require much more concentration than music. Sudoku comes to mind as an example.

Though there is something about music that, as some people have put it, is hard wired into our minds as most people enjoy some sort of music, although the choice in music varies greatly. Mostly due to familiarity and repetition.

Though in my opinion the "hard wiring" happens when you are exposed to it repeatedly, not since birth. The ability for the mind to "wire itself" is innate since birth of course. This ability also varies.

Music is also a form of "self medication". Have you ever seen anyone blasting music so loud they can't think?

I get it.

Sure. He likely found stability more pleasant than instability. As I'm sure we all would had we experienced it.

A provider who writes Rx and does not talk with you is not your therapist. Most such providers do not even perform therapy in their practice at all.

Aside from this educational bullet, I'm not touching this thread with a 10 foot pole.

I should probably be talking to friends rather than someone who is paid to be a professional rather than a friend. None the less, I'm pretty much loner status as of now. I do web cam chat which simulates a social atmosphere somewhat, but how important is the sense of touch, not sure

Naer, you're a special flake. I dread having to watch your inevitable downward spiral into mindless atrophy of body and soul. Worse, is the cost in friends, relatives and, money. You have no direction, goal or, hope except to be somehow 'rescued ' by an outside source. You are like an alcoholic who can't and won't make any changes til you hit bottom. I also know nothing I or anyone else says will make an impact until then. Please hurry your race to the bottom.

Tell us what happens if you don't use drugs. I.E. what are the original symptoms you're being treated for.
