I am a Perry Ellis, Kenneth Cole guy, but my favorites are the $35 100% cashmere sweaters from priZe costKo, you know, the wholesale store? similar to Zam's club?

Where you are getting the $35 cashmere sweaters again!?! Post it in this forum, since I'd consider that a HOT DEAL!

Man, you guys should just go to Korea or China....they have all these clothes for more than half off....plus no tax!!! If only the airplane tickets were cheaper....

click on "shop" then click on the "sale" link at the top right hand corner.
their khakis are nice but they're loooong. the shortest they make em are 30 but when you try them on, they look like 32s.

sygyzy,
I'm assuming that 57.5" is in inches, so you'd definitely go with a medium jacket, and we have waist sizing, but ours run big, so if you normally wore a 32-33, I'd try to go with a 31 or 32 or a medium in the transformer pants. The only thing is in our store, so I'm assuming others, we don't carry odd-numbered waists, you'll have to order them from the catalog or over the internet. Hope I was some help....

dmbsuperfan - Actually I am 5 foot 7 inches. Not 57 inches. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for the help but now the online store is basically sold out of everything and there isn't an ANF for a few hours in either direction.

>> it IS oversized <<

Depends upon your size, I guess. I'm 6'0", 200 lbs. I don't know about anything else, but I used to be able to buy XL "business-casual" short-sleeved shirts from A&F, and they fit me fine (loose in the shoulders, and long enough to tuck in).

Nowadays the XLs are tighter and shorter. I didn't change, so they must've. I'd buy XXLs if I could find any, but my local A&F doesn't seem to have any, and their website is pretty poor, IMO. Even if you can get past all the images of the half-naked men, they have a very limited selection of items available online, and picking out a shirt based on a tiny scan viewed on a monitor is difficult at best.

beware when you buy from them. I placed my order early sunday morning, everything i bought was in stock. Today i checked up on my order online and 2 of the items that they said were "in stock" are now "cancelled".

just because you bought it doesn't mean you'll get it.

Our pants are oversized, but our shirts are undersized. We have a pair of khaki pants right now that run about the same size as J.Crew and Gap, but I'm pretty sure we're sold out (it was part of the Christmas season stock).

What's wrong with Abercrombie? They have great quality cloths? Their prices are not much different from AE, GAP or any othr store at the mall. But well i guess that depends on what mall u goto......

yeh i'm only talking about the pants being oversize...more specifically, the length of the pants, not the waist.

dmbsuperfan, which khakis are u referring to? the stanton chinos?

I don't know the name of them, but they have blue and white stripes on the inside border of the waist...other than that, they look pretty regular...they should be on sale...they're pleated and come in stone khaki and dark khaki....the length runs long as well on most pants, but not sure about this pair.

To each man his own...That's why I won't crack back on A&F critics. Everybody has different tastes, that's what make this world such a great, diverse place. I personally love their stuff, you can't place a price on very comfortable and exceptionally durable clothing.

Some A&F stores down here in So Cal are literally being emptied by shoppers cleaning up on great deals. Pretty much each store has a 40% off promotion and winter sweaters that are upwards to like $100 are being slashed down to $19.99. As said before most stores looked like they have been pillaged already but the store in Rancho Palos Verdes/Rolling Hills Estates still have lots of stuff in stock. (Probably because relatively few people live around that area).
