Yay for the Shit-for-Brains administration and all his cronies.

Yeah! Damn Bush! Now you can't wank to NYPD Blue.

Im trying to find a link that shows that the Bush administration enacted the law that was supposedly broken. Anyone have one?

Law has nothing to do with it. The FCC is run by a person appointed by the President. You can bet your dick cheese that Bush has a big ignorant paw in this.

NYPD blue was the show that showed female nudity in a sex scene wasn't it? I didn't think it was all that big of a deal. I remember thinking back then "Wow, this is a leap for network TV..." but at least they showed a warning prior to the episode.

I am against the FCC for the most part, but seriously, if you watch the video clip, you have to be an idiot to think that it would be ok to show on network TV. They even zoomed on the ass...

No, you'd have to be an idiot to think a bare ass is worse than all the violence on TV. You're against the FCC but pro-censorship?

I am pro-people-need-to-learn-to-comprehend-better.

I never said I was pro-censorship, and I even stated I was against the FCC, but this is CLEARLY against the rules and they should have realized that. I also think that there is a better argument in censoring nudity than violence/language.

the violence is fake, and the language is "adult" stuff and part of acting, but a naked woman is a naked woman. It's not like NYPD blue is some hardcore show that parents should expect something like that

Dude, it's just an ass. A woman's ass looks pretty much the same as a guy's ass. Take off your pants, look into a mirror, and turn around. See the resemblance?

All I heard in that post was "I'm a Puritan. I have a buckle on my hat." And NYPD Blue is an adult oriented cop show.

You say you're against censorship and in the VERY NEXT SENTENCE you advocate censorship. It's like your brain is broken. You're seriously so deluded you can't even read what you yourself wrote? It's like the fuckin Twilight Zone.

Its always bothered me the way society looks at sex.
Something natural like sex or nudity and run, cover your eyes, don't let your children view a naked butt. Its terrible , horrible, run !

But its perfectly acceptable to show people cutting off other peoples arms, heads.
Blowing them up, beating them, torturing them, shooting them, all that is fine to show on tv.
Just don't let them dare see a nude person !

So I suppose if you had a child in a home that were to see his mother breast feeding the new baby that you would forbid him to be around when the baby was fed.
I mean its a naked woman !

Fuck the rules. The rules are whacked and make no sense.

What's wrong with a naked woman for Christ sake? :|

Kids don't know the difference between fake TV violence and real violence. It sure looks real enough. Personally, I'd much rather have tons of nudity and less violence on TV.

If you make a big deal about nudity then it becomes a big deal to children. I personally don't see that nudity is a big deal. Blowing someone's head off on the other hand...now that's something I have a problem with. And I'm not saying we should sensor shows like that on TV, just that parents should have some sense and monitor what they allow their children to watch on TV.

This is a government agency gone wild. What's next? We go back to puritan ways when women were covered up from head to toe at the beach? Let's all embrace muslim beliefs! How about we bring back prohibition too?

Personally, I'd rather see us becoming more like Europe in many ways.

I'm not even against male nudity on TV quite frankly. Depicting the naked body, male or female, is not wrong and it should not be censored. There is nothing wrong with nudity.

A lot of you think you know what you're talking about and it sure is fun to read, but I suggest that people look into things they don't completely understand or know anything about.

While I don't agree with the way the PTC has done business over the years, I am glad to see that at least this time it was a major network and its affiliates as opposed to a public channel. They have been fined for less and it's absolutely ridiculous.

That was one of the reasons I used to watch NYPD Blue!

Geez, it's ok for them to show dead people in droves, but one breast!!?!? OMG, we're doomed!

It's not pornographic, but you don't want to view this at work. Please don't click it and act surprised.

Mods- if this offends, please break the link. I don't think it's too bad though.

wait.. they showed bush? (middle pic)

Same here, but why was the naked female butt fined and Franz's wasn't?

We need more fucking nudity damnit. The real world is rated worse then R. Lets get some adult television. I end up renting HBO shows because they are far more believable.

Meh, I want something believable. Then again, I watch about an hour a week because most television is made for target audiences instead of just trying to be good.

ok seriously, listen to what I say and don't ramble with your bullshit. I am not advocating shit, but I am saying that a bare ass like they had on the show is clearly against the rules, regardless of whether the rules are fair or not. I am trying to make some sense of the rules, regardless of whether they are correct or not. but you're just a fucking jackass like the people who run the FCC
