I was just watching something on the news about Isreal being a leader in alternative energy development. What are Arabs doing again?

Who said Israel is a leader in alternate energy development? I would have to say the Chinese are doing more to innovate and deploy.

But Iran, as it develops peace time electrical energy from Nukes is suppressed by Israel, in spite of the fact Israel has it own nuclear reactor at Dismona.

From what I understand, the Israeli reactor at Dismona design is similar to the design of Chernobyl, and its containment dome is riddled with cracks. With Israel being in an Earthquake zone, who knows what can happen.

As usual, what you understand is wrong. Israel's nuclear program was started by the French and the US using heavy water technology. The Soviets would not have supplied Israel with nuclear weapons technology while they were our ally during the cold war.

As for the current condition of the reactor, who knows. Unless Israel makes public statements you are going on pure speculation and more likely simple propaganda.
