I'm using one right now and it really does work, i'm also dieting and doing situps at nigiht, but this thing really does get your ab muscles working, at first it feels weird, but you get used to it,and start to like it, anyone else ever tried one?

No, but regular sit-ups/crunches seem to work, too... At least for me.
I have actually often wondered if it's much easier excerise than crunches...

haha, very funny, not start to like it, but get used to it i guess, as for crunches and sit ups, i'm pairing using the belt with a daily routine of situps to try and speed up the process, just situps never worked for me, so we'll see if this hellps

What Iwonder is wether or not it does anything other than excercise the affected muscle, I don't doubt that I CAN strengthen them but whats the point if you don't lose the flab too? :)

I guess thats where the dieting comes in, but dieting is usually the hardest part for most people so it would seem like it wouldn't really be solving anything. Unless it burns fat just like excercise would.

What works good is those ab wheel things. If you've never done it before your abs will be sore for days after.

i've only had it a week or so, but i like it so far, when i'm done using it i can feel my abs got a workout, they actually hurt if i turn it up all the way, i use it for about an hour a day though, and it also tells you to just use it for about 10-15 minutes

Didn't they do a show on NBC debunking these things? A friend of mine tried and swears by it. But then again, he also burnt/shocked him self w/ them belts...

i think these, like any other "get thin quick" idea could have it's merits if used properly, and combined with diet and other factors, like i'm doing, i'll report back to you guys though and let you know how my progress is going, i figure it's only fair fat asses share the secrets ya know

Bah...I don't think I'm a fatass.

Right now, I do 200 or so crunches a day just to stay passable on top of running and working out...I'm not searching for an easy answer...just something to put me over the top

One of my friends has one of those suckers and I tried it out. It had like 10 levels of intensity, but I could only take it up to level 6. I think it's because my stomach is kind of hairy, and you need good contact with a conductor (lotion) so it doesn't zap your skin too bad.
