all my other computers/laptops can connect to my wireless router except for one. it just won't connect. it'll detect, but nothing will happen if you try to establish a connection. it's not a dhcp problem, there's no encryption, why????
 
1) the card is internal, disabling/renabling doesn't help either
2) what would event view do?

i don't know what would cause this problem; i took a spare cisco card i had, and it worked fine! but i have no idea why the internal wifi card won't work.
 
reinstalling to me means to go into device manager and uninstall and reinstall the card.

event viewer would tell you what going on with your card, if its even seeing the router or its not even getting there.

have you tried to reboot, wait 5 minutes and then boot back and try again ?

what type of internal card is it ?
