I had one of these on my upper inside thigh about 2 months ago -it's not going to get better w/o DOCTOR PRESCRIBED antibiotics.

It's more that likely (as linked above), a boil, carbuncle, or simply and ingrown hair that got infected. the pain WILL get worse, I was barely able to walk before I finally sought treatment. (yes, I know I'm a moron, ni health insurance at the time)

Wise up Andy, and get proper treatment.
