I was used to seeing the common roaches here and there from the places I lived (NJ), but I always cringe when you kill them and all those yummy juices just squirt out...

Then I went to Louisiana and saw huge flying roaches... I didn't want to leave the house. Then I saw one in the room I was sleeping. I don't think I could go there again.

Should I turn in my man card now?

But the customs even opened up my bags... they should have found the roach!!!

Coming from Jamaica they're not looking for a roach, trust me. (well at least the kind with six legs)

Best bet is to kill it and watch closely for the propagation of juveniles. It is possible for the amateur to rid an edifice of the common cockroach but it takes an experienced pest control operator to effectively control a well established infestation.

I found a roach in my apartment the other day.
After I smoked it, I had some serious munchies.

The first time in my life that I saw a live roach was two years ago when I was in NYC.
