AAFES access is available to current and prior military members. If you do not know what AAFES is, then you probably do not qualify for it. I've been on the lookout for a decently priced C2D, and this one seems ok. It is a slower processor, but heck, what can you ask for in a sub-$650 C2D laptop.

Yeah, can't really ask for much more with a sub-650, C2D lappy. Hell, doubt you can find any C2D lappy for under 750, not to mention this one has 1G mem, and truelife.
Kinda hard to beat. The E1705 lappy on AAFES starts at $712, with a CD 1.87GHz.
