What's this nonsense about camping season being over? It's just begun...

That's the beauty of camping. There's room for everyone's idea of enjoying the outdoors. I don't mind camping in the cold but, I'll never climb into one of those pimples unless it's for survival. :D

Calling it a pimple is a insult to the size of pimples....

Also, if you check my location, I'm not going to be camping in the cold.

I just went camping at joshua tree. Didn't even need a tent. There were a few rocks that was about the size of a twin sized bed and conveniently had a flat top. I just plopped down a pillow and a sleeping bag and slept watching the epic milky way. :awe:

Exactly you can't park one of those freaking hotels at good camping spots. If you have problems with a tent and wind you should check out how to tie up tarps to create wind and rain screens. I could have a tent totally sheltered with a couple tarps and some rope.

Or just get a real tent.
