Get your butler or maid to clean it.

Mom and Dad are out of town.

But it's off to the woodshed when pop finds out he drove the Healey, killed the battery and blew the pan gasket all over the driveway.

Maybe Ferris can save him.N

This thread absolutely did NOT disappoint. I believe the early "Lambo" comment got the loudest laugh from me. :D

You have issues because i'm uppity...????? LMAO.

My goal is to be always in pursuit of uppityness. Money is the equalizer. No one in my family is never going to have to worry about the best health care. Call me spoiled/douchebad/uppity prick or whatever. Some other people call it drive/ambition/success. I don't show off. My daily drive is a Maxima.

Look, I don't have ESP.. I didn't know if it was a bad battery, my alternator or starter. THAT'S WHY YOU CALL AAA. Unless you're a mechanic. I am not. It's not that I don't want to change it battery, I didn't know if that battery was the problem. YOU THICK SHIT !

AND FOR THE STAIN, he spent half hour stomping on it and washing it down and it didn't make a difference. (you said you think it takes 30 seconds to clean.) NO, IT'S GOING TO BE A RELATIVELY BIG TASK...BIG FOR ME BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW HOW. The whole reason I posted this is because AS I SAID, he put kitty litter on it and TRIED and it's still really bad. They will probably send someone with the right stuff to clean it, right ? And it shouldn't cost me a cent. Doesn't matter if im rich/poor/whatever. It's the principle of it. Would you be as aggravated at me if i lived in a $200,000 2 bedroom house and broke. I'm sure half of ATOT would have been lobbying for me in that case.

PLEASE read and absorb the facts, let them churn around a little even. Half of these responses are horsecrap.

And why should I care what the guy thinks of me when he comes back. I really don't give a shit.. or even 2 shits or 3.

Didn't you say that you were done posting in this thread?

Seriously, you sound like a complete and utter douche and the more you keep on posting the worse you sound.

Honestly, you sound like Casiotech. That's not a good thing.

Hey guys,

I called AAA, when my car's battery needed changing and while the AAA guy was here, a container full of some oil (hydaulic fluid i think) leaked onto my driveway. He had a bag of kitty litter in the truck and as soon as he saw it, he proceeded to pour the kitty litter over the spillage to absorb it.
(Do they all have kitty litter in their trucks? or did he know about the leak and just was not careful enough?)

Long and short of it, its a new half a million dollar home and the stain is a HUGE eyesore. You can't miss it as you pull up into the driveway. So, I'm gonna call either triple A or the dealer that sent the tow guy.

My question is what's the best way to tackle this?
Should I call triple A or the dealer?
And do you think they (either AAA, or the dealer) will do anything?

Thanks, just looking for advice because it's a heartbreaker of a stain....
And we have 2 gold AAA cards in the household.

Thanks in advance, for any advice.
AJ.

I bolded the parts in your post that confirm your douchebaggery.

Despite your infinite wisdom of business and your astounding success in real life, I will teach you how to use the amazing GOOGLE!

Just click this link:

Its all self explanatory after that

There's a huge difference between being a prick and being ambitious. You sound like far more of the former and far less of the latter. Why else do you feel the need for validation? You come in here and start posting about how the AAA guy ruined your half million dollar home's driveway. Nobody gives a fuck that your house costs half a million, but clearly YOU give a fuck and want everyone to know. Loud money is the worst kind of money and you've got loud money written all over you.

It's a stain in your driveway. Why not use some of that "ambition" or "drive" and figure out how to clean it up? You could have been done by now rather than wasting some towing guy's time to come out and try and clean it again. FYI, the towing guy doesn't really give a fuck and if you call him back out (a) he's not going to expend any effort fixing it and (b) he's probably going to shit on your lawn.

As for the principle, the guy tried to clean it up. He was there for your car, not to make sure your driveway remained as spotless as your kitchen counter-top. Again, why not take some of that drive and fix your problem by yourself instead of whining to someone else to do it? What if the AAA had run over part of your lawn and damaged it? Would you want him to come over and resod it? Just fixing the damn problem yourself instead of going all emo on us.

PLEASE understand that this is just a stain and if you weren't such an idiot you could clean it yourself.

edit: You also got ripped off on your battery. Congrats.

Hey, it's your opinion about me, but check out my other thread in the computer help section.

I'm trying to save an old laptop to serve as my spare one. I don't go out trashing old laptops like my friends and cousins.
After almost every post in that forum , i say thanks. That should tell you about my character.

In this thread, I only mentioned half a million dollar house to express that this is my dream home and how I really want a professional job done.

I didn't mention i have a sports car, some other kid said something about a lambo.

Loud money, not me. I drive a 9yr old maxima as a daily driver and have a beat up truck that i use for hauling stuff. My sports car is always garaged, door closed and only used once or twice a week. No one can see it driving by unless i'm washing it.

And you still don't understand the principle, it's not that I don't want to clean it up, I feel that they should because they caused it. Now what will happen is that they will either help me out or tell me to f*ck off.

If the sears guy that is delivering an appliance and something leaks from it and stains my carpet, don't you think it's fair that sears sends someone who knows what they're doing to clean it for me. yeah i could try myself, but would probably not do as good as a pro.

Your example about damaging my lawn and re-sodding it. I seeded my whole yard with URI seed and that's easy as scratching the soil with a rake, sprinkling seed and covering it up with loam. I would do that myself BECAUSE I AM EXPERIENCED IN IT and have all the EXACT TOOLS. Yes, i would be pissed for all of 10 minutes but that's easy to fix. So, bad example

Another example is when sears delivered my lawn tractor, the grass catcher bins were all scratched because they were unsecured in the back of the delivery truck, the driver called sears and they took $40 off. If I don't report that, sears delivery quality won't ever improve will it ? That's my philosophy, if i'm unhappy about something, I report it. I feel it's my obligation. If no one complains, quality will continue declining.

Make of that what you will.

Being a business owner, i know that customer service/satisfaction is paramount.

I don't think that makes me an idiot :)

P.S. this internet fighting is fun :)

Of my decade on the internet, this is the most tasteless post on a forum i have read. I was tempted to say 'hope he rapes yours one day', but then I would be stooping to your level. I'm even ashamed that i thought of saying it. Kind of sums up what kind of person you are to even say that.

Hope you're not married.. And really hope you don't have kids. Disgusting thing to say bro.!

What an honor to receive. Thanks! :awe:

Dude, just buy some fucking simple green and a brush and clean it yourself. Stop being such a giant panty waste you big wuss.

I can't tell you how many times contractors or carpet cleaners have left oil drops on my driveway (always from American trucks for some reason...go figure) and I've never called them up to clean it. Just clean it yourself and stop being such a puss.

Old enough. The thing though is, why does the OP think that the value of his home ha any bearing on his problem?

because Buffy and Missy next door in their three-quarter of a million dollar villa are laughing at the poor 'broke' newbie to their neighborhood who has a 'stain' on his driveway

ha
ha

now he'll never be invited over for tea and crumpets or a night out of polo.

this + your other posts in this thread = i love you.

Yep, agree 100% with the second post if you think a 12 inch diameter oil spill = 1/2 gallon of hydraulic fluid.

i almost missed this. lulz. a foot is probably a half a pint or less, a half gallon of most any kind of oil would probably coat most of his driveway- hard to be sure, though, he better give us the square footage of his driveway if he hasn't already.
