yeah im tryin to do a wireless connection between me and my roomate, our computers are like, 6-7 feet apart, he gets a weak signal(one bar) and whenever he attempts to connect it says limited or no connectivity, im running windows xp 64bit and he's running windows xp sp2 regular, we both have stock network setups on the network control panel. he's using a wireless pci-802.11b and im using my onboard 802.11b/g.

Do you have 64 bits Drivers for the Wireless?

Did you configured bothe PC's Wireless to Ad-Hoc connection?

It depends on what you use.

Some times, it is in the card's drivers; most times, it is an option in the manufacturer wireless utility, and or Win XP SP2's WZC.
