Does anyone know when the ASUS A8V-E will be avalible at newegg? i cant find it anywhere even pricewatch. has it been released yet?

They went on the market December 14, so they should be around somewhere. Try suggesting it to NewEgg.

what does this mobo have that the A8V doesn't?

First I've heard of it.
My A8V is rock solid, no problems.
Looks like they added a cooling fan to the Northbridge.
And the 4 pin power plug is in a different spot. So the layout is slightly different from the A8V.
I think OC fans are drooling over the DFI Lan party board, even though it's going to cost $250 and up.

I have used them before quite satisfactorily and if you want a burn in service with the mem and CPU they will do it for you...
