A8N32-SLI + SI-120 + Praetorian RC-730 (would all that fit together?)

Hi there!

It's my first post, so please don't hate.

I am in a process of getting parts for my new PC. I already have a silver Praetorian RC-732 and a Seasonc-600W power supply.
Now after spending ountless hours reading forums and different reviews, I decided to buy an Asus A8N32-SLI motherboard, Athlon X2 4400 and Thermalright Si-120 heatsink too keep the CPU cool.

Now my question this, would the above combination actually fit together, without too many hassles and if not, what do you think would be a good CPU heatsink/fan replacement ?

Thanks in advance.
tim.

I have the A8N32 w/corsair pc3500ll RAM and have been having a hard time finding the right heatsink. the Zalman I tried bumps the RAM, and with the Arctic Cooling 64 Silencer Ultra, one of the screws bumps the northbridge heatsink. right now have an small Thermaltake cooler on there that is pretty loud.

have you decided on a heatsink?

I really do not want to take the board out to mount the SI-120 if possible. still looking for ideas.

Just to give you an update. I bit the bullet and ended up buying SI-120 and Nexus 120mm fan. Not the cheapest option, but I sure hope it'll do the job. Also people from Thermalright have emailed me that the whole set up should fit.

Now I gotta get that A8N32-SLI and a CPU.

I just put the Si-120 and Nexus fan on my personal system with Asus A8N-VM CSM board. pretty happy with it. my 4200+ X2 is 46C right now so I guess that is ok.

as far as the A8N32-SLI board, it was the Zalman 7000B-AlCu LED, it almost made it but bumped the RAM - the RAM is thick. with regular RAM may of worked. i may even try a dremel on the fins a bit.

Ordered an Thermaltake CL-P0200 for the A8N32 for now.
