A8N32-SLI Memclock Value problem

Strange problem with my new A8N32-SLI. While I was testing the o/c on my Opty 165, I had Memclock Limit set to Manual and Memclock Value set to 100Mhz. Finally got my HT settings stable at 280x3, so I tried changing Memclock Value to 133 to start RAM testing. If I change the Memclock Value setting to anything other than 100Mhz, they system will either not post (no video, etc.) or it will start spewing out crap about the BIOS being corrupt, and checking CD-ROM, etc. Changing it back to 100Mhz clears it up.

My RAM is Corsair XMS Pro PC4000 (DDR500), so it should be able to at least do 133Mhz or 166Mhz on the Memclock Value. Auto is obviously not an option. BIOS is v1103. For the life of me, I can't figure out why this is happening!

With that mobo and bios, a memclock value of 200mhz is 1:1 with the processor. A 166 is a divider and should be the right divider for you. As long as the timings are loose enough then it should be able to post.

BTW, got the same motherboard.
