The BIOS is indeed still a bit quirky sometimes... But those issues will be ironed out as time proceeds, no doubt... The technology itself isn't that evolved as well at the moment...

I don't see any possible incompatibilities... Too bad you already ordered the X2... For that price you could 've got an Opteron... For the rest, everything just looks great!

There is a guide around here that'll tell you what to do step by step. For the most part if you follow it there isnt much hassle. As long as you prep everything first properly I hear it goes pretty well.

Isn't it funny how for the longest time you couldn't find an Asus A8N32 Deluxe and now that MSI has come with thier own 32 lane PCIe, they are readily available? Anyone else notice this? Is it a marketing thing?

Not sure if the MSI is out yet or not. If its not it should be fairly soon. Everyone is going to make a version of the A8N32. Its inevitable. I'm guessing ASUS pushed theirs out so they could grab market share. Others waited till they could adequately meet demand I'm guessing.

A little cheaper than the ASUS mobo too. Looking forward to some ASUS A8N32 vs MSI Diamond Plus benchmarks.
