A8N-SLI

I have read that there is a special connector that leads from the PSU to the GPU in a PCI-E / SLI setup. I dont know much about this stuff. Can someone explain to me whats up with this and what kind of PSU and connecter I am going to need if running 2 PCI-E cards and the new A8N-SLI. THANKS!

Here is a photo from Enermax's site that shows a 6-pin PCIe-video plug: http://pics.bbzzdd.com/users/mechBgon/clgcable1111.jpg

The board has a 24-pin ATX fitting, plus the four-pin ATX12V fitting and a receptacle for a standard 4-pin plug like a hard drive would use. So Asus is giving it ten 12V lines. :Q

What plugs your cards will need, that will depend on what cards you get. Anyway, here is a nominee for the power supply: Enermax 600-watt 24-pin/20-pin unit.

I'm wicked happy you said that. That's the one I picked (for my first build, yet). I'm going to rely heavily on your awesome guide to get things up and running.
