A8N-SLI With Kingston or Corsair?

Kingston HyperX KHX3200AK2/1G
Corsair CMX512-3200C2

I have the Corsair now, but my Bro has the Kingston, and wants to trade for my Corsair? Which would you prefer with this board? And is the Kingston a good compatible memory for this board? Thanks

No, both 2*512Mb. Normally I'd have just said no way, but he has a DFI board that will not work good with the Kingston HyperX RAM. So I decided I'd consider it if it's worth it. Both RAM are about the same price, and the HyperX actually has better timings.

I say get the Kingston

Hmm, I went ahead and swapped temporarily so I could test in my system. Junk if you ask me. They claim it'll do 2-3-2-6-T1, yet it wouldn't do that or even 2-3-3-6. Only way it would boot to windows is with the cas lat. set to 2.5.

Kingston, I don't know what these cracksmokingwhores are talking about cosair being better, they are equal, but HyperX is the shizznat, i'd try it out, and bench mark the ram you'll see.

worse timings??
and doesn't work with your brothers either?

:glaring red alert:

memtest it!
sounds like RMA to me
