A8N-SLI integrated sound causing freezes

I had huge headaces caused by Ut2k4 freezing when using the TeamSpeak communication program in the background. A workaround was to set the output to "wave" instead of "directsound". The problem was confirmed on four different machines, where the forth is running WoW and Ventrilo. So, the problem is not isolated to TS and UT2k4.

What I'm wondering is if how many of you (if any) are sucessfully gaming on a system based on A8N-SLI (or other mothherboard using the Realtek ALC850 codec) in combination with TeamSpeak (directsound output) or Ventrilo?
