A8N SLI-Deluxe sli mode and now display

So I put together a brand new computer

Athlon64 3500+
A8N SLI-Deluxe
500 watt bluestorm psu
2 x 6800 GT
Windows XP with drivers installed

So I get all the parts except my second graphics card (which they forgot to ship)
and I put it together, waiting for my second one to get here. I flip the EZ connector thing,
make sure the bios SLI configuration is set to "auto", and put in the second card in the second PCI-e slot.
I connect the power to the first graphics card, connect an adapter for the type of connecter the second graphics card needs and plug it in. Then the system refuses to show anything to my monitor (which is connected with an analog to dvi converter). I take out the second one, and try it, swith the EZ connector thing for one card, and it works fine. I take out the first one, to make sure my pci-e slot is fine, and it works with one card. I plug in the monitor on all four slots, with no go. It seems that when connected with the connecter, it doesn't display anything on my monitor.
I'm not sure what my bios version is, so I might disconnect one of my cards and update it through there software.

This shouldn't be this hard. List what graphic cards you are using, and the rest of your components, including the power supply.

Need a starting point! 😉

I had the same problem when I connected my second card. I cleared CMOS by removing the battery and switching the jumper(as explained in the manual), rebooted and it worked.

I know what the problem is exactly. You don't have any memory installed in the computer, nor any drives. You have to finish installing the rest of the components.

😎
