I accidentally reset my BIOS settings. Before this reset, I had the BIOS startup configured to not display the page that asks if I want to enter the RAID Utility. It looks something like:

Silicon Sil 3114 SATARAID Bios version 5.1.39
Enter (CTRL-S) or F4 to enter RAID Utility

I don't have a RAID setup and don't want the screen appearing because it takes about 5-10 seconds to timeout before proceeding.

Can anybody telll me what I need to configure to bypass this screen prompt?

Thanks.

you need to go into the bios and find the section for onboard peripherals and disable the raid.

Thanks. This got me on the right track.

In my version of the BIOS Setup, the attribute to set was:

Advanced -> Onboard Device Configuration -> Silicon SATA Controller

Setting this to 'Disabled' seems to do the trick.
