A8N-SLI Deluxe PCI Lock not working

Just got my A8N-SLI up and running...

It was a trouble free install, now on to tuning and tweaking which hasn't been so fun :(

Setup:

Seasonic 460w PSU (24-pin, 25A 12v single rail)
A8N-SLI Deluxe (obviously per the post :p )
Winchester 3200+
BIOS 1004 Final

If you guys need more info, let me know, trying to keep it to the essential facts here.

So I got A64 Tweaker, ClockgenNF4 and nTune installed to toy around with the new rig. This is where problems begin.

When I try to change the HTT per Clockgen, it shows an increase in the PCI bus as well. I've also loaded up nTune to get the popup window that says my PCI bus is set to track the HTT. I don't have any issues with this yet, no crashing or BSOD's, but am concerned that pushing the HTT will cause problems because of this if Clockgen is indeed correct on the PCI bus speed.

Things I have changed in the BIOS:

Both SATA controllers disabled (have IDE for the time being)
Overclock settings on Manual
RAM timings set to Manual (1T, 2.5-3-3-8 timings w/ rest on auto)
Cool n' Quiet disabled
PCI bus set to the 33.33mhz setting

Am I missing something here? Or perhaps is Clockgen incorrect? I've seen a few people say that CPU-Z can show PCI bus speed but I can't find that anywhere in the program?

This is my first A64 system, so OC'ing the K8 is new to me. Have done a fair amount of Socket A OC'ing, but obviously this is a different beast altogether so any help is appreciated.

Thanks ahead of time guys and LMK if there's anything I'm missing here or your ideas of the PCI clock issue.

Are you sure your bios flash worked? That sounds like a 1002 problem.
In 1002 you had to set the HTT to 201 or higher in bios to lock the PCI bus.

I haven't had that problem since the first 1003 beta bios. But then I don't ever boot up with stock bios settings. You should try increasing the HTT in bios and see if that locks it.

I'll give it a try.

The board actually came with 1003 final. I just got it a week ago.

Will report back with any progress. Or lack thereof :p

Well lo and behold it worked.

Why the hell wouldn't the PCI lock in the BIOS work then?

Argh. I'll try re-flashing. I used AsusUpdate to flash to the 1004 Final, but only site it could find was ftp.asuscom.de. Maybe that's it *shrug*

-edit-

I re-flashed and still couldn't get the PCI lock to work without setting 201 for HTT in the BIOS. Odd.

On the plus side I went ahead and started to tinker with my OC. My week 51 which I was so worried about after all the bad press the week 51's are getting is up at 2.4ghz with 1.45 volts! Woot!

Gotta prime it overnight to ensure stability but it's looking good so far. Hopefully it doesn't take a big dump after 2.4 hehe. Now if only they'd fix that damn 240 @ 1t problem I'd be in heaven :)

Try clearing the CMOS as per the manual (i.e. remove the battery). This has been known to sort out problems similar to yours.
