FSP550-60PLG made by Sparkle Power Inc (its a varation of the Fortron FSP5500 PSU) ... will i need any kind of special connectors for this combo? i had heard the PSU is 20pin and the board requires 12pin.

going shopping later today so any help would be $$ 🙂
 
The board requires 24 pin. You can get 20 -> 24 pin adaptors, but I'm not sure that if they'll do the job wekll enough...

Anyone using the ASUS like to comment?
 
actually.. i guess its not terribly relevant.. the PSU is 24 pin (recieved it from Fedex today... just checked it out)

24pin on the 1 connector, 8pin on the other.. 😉
