A8N SLI DELUXE CMOS problem

Hi,

i've got an A8N SLI DELUXE with the latest Bios version and i have a problem ..... In order to start my pc i have to reset cmos every day (when i do this it starts normaly).... Sometimes it dosen't start at all (nu video signal, no hdd activity) or i can't access bios , or my raid0 dissapears. The mb is new...so i don't think that the battery is the problem.

I have the same board. Make sure you disable overclocking, the AI Overclocking and set everything to auto.
 
Did you install the nvidia ide and firewall drivers? They have caused the problems you describe, try uninstalling them and revert back to the standard windows ide driver.

Also did you hit F6 and install both the raid and sata drivers from the Asus disk when you installed Windows?

Update the bios to the latest release from the Asus website.

And you should check the CMOS battery, even though the board is new they sometimes come with bad batteries🙁
 
yes... my problems appeared just after the installation of the latest nvidia ide and firewall drivers , as for the overcloking it's set to manual 😉

i will uninstall the nvidia drivers... i hope it will work
