[15:43] Hmmm a slightly dodgy start, died at 230, might have been a mistake I made though... here goes again.

[15:58] 247 x 9 - this is where it gets a bit hairy :) Still going though.

[16:02] 248 x 9 @ 2.5-3-3-5 1T Failed Super Pi, perhaps too tight timings. Now to try 2.5-4-4-10 1T

[16:05] 249 x 8 (yes 8) @ 2.5-4-4-10 1T, fails super PI.

The 1T Issue isn't fixed.

4.Update A8N-SLI Deluxe Logo.

My signature displays my setting and i just ran Prime for 8 hours and memtest86 and no issues with 1t. Would i need tighter timings or what is the issue that people are having?

The issue is going over 245 1T. You are under the limit, most everyone with good ram can hit at least 240 1T. Raise it to 250mhz and the BSOD will visit you

Ah, I gotcha well i didn't try 250. I was going to but I was happy with was my performance to temp. ratio! I'll have to keep an eye on the forums to see when Asus corrects that problem

Thanx!!!

1007 beta 02 bios for A8N-SLI deluxe

I don't know what's new in 1007 beta, Asus doesn't make this public (a german Asus support guy once told me they do this because their competitors can read the changelists too and may get ideas from it ;))

Wim

hey thanks for the links, but are we supposed to rename the bios file so that it does not have the sd in it (1006sd.bin) also, how do we use the given flash utility, i am not home but am just wondering, i usually use the awdflash way but i think it is version 1.08 and these say they need 1.09. sorry if this is a noob question.

has anyone tried 1006?

I usually flash my BIOS with ASUS Liveupdate (latest version) and use the option to flash the bios from a file. (it doesn't really matter what name it has)

I wouldn't flash with an older flasher if ASUS mentions to use the latest version... probably some bad things could happen (no boot anymore, ...)
