I would like to achieve 2.6. How should I start. What core temp should be the stopping point? I had this setup overclocked once before.. Before the chipset driver update crash. When I went looking for my post, I guess everything was deleted since it has been almost a year ago.

Thanks in advance for everyones assistance.

Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe Bios 1015
2 Asus Extreme N6600GT
2 Western Digital 160GB SATA 7200RPM Hard Drives Raid 0
Kingston HyperX 1GB DDR400 PC3200 Memory
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Processor Socket 939 (NewCastle)
Aspire Case with 500 watt power supply.

keep it below 60 if u want ur cpu to last, 60 is teh shutdown temp for some ppl, and a 17% oc should be easily doable, look around, be sure to keep an eye on ram timings

Try

HTT multi to 4x
CPU multi to 11x
HTT to 236
"max mem clock" to DDR333
CPU volts to 1.60-1.625
Keep all ram timings and volts at AUTO

Thanks GD! But these aren't working I had to clear the cmos to even get back into the bios menu.

I did find these on another thread that seem to work. Or at least allows me to boot up. Do these look OK to at least start with?

Thanks again,

On the CPU/Dram config page
HT multi = 3x
Max mem clock = DDR333
Cool n' Quite = disable

On the jumperfree page
HTT = 260
Cpu multi = 10
Cpu volts = 1.55v
DDR volts = 2.8v
PCI clock = 33.33
