A8N-SLI chipset fan error on boot

I changed out that sketchy stock chipset fan on my A8N-SLI last night for the Zalman NB47J. Installation was pretty easy, except for removing the stock fan, a bit dodgy getting those push pins to come back out. I also swapped out the stock cooler on my eVGA 6600GT for the Zalman V700F. Now my machine is oh-so-much more quiet, my hard drive is almost the loudest part :)

Now that I don't have a fan plugged into the chipset fan jack on the MB, the system reports an error when I boot it up. It says it cannot detect the chipset fan or fan speed too low, says you can disable that check in the BIOS, and lets you hit F1 to continue anyway.

I can't find anything in the BIOS settings that will let me change this function, there are only settings for the CPU and CHA1 fan speed checks. I've searched through the manual and on this forum for an answer, but haven't had any luck. Does anyone else have the same issue?

In bios under the Boot menu, Boot options

Change post error reporting to "Halt on no errors" this wll bypass all boot error messages including Chassis fan, Cpu fan, chipset fan, case open warnings etc...

Same prob here!I have 1004 bios!I have a 80 fan pluged in with 2000RPM and still it sayz speed to low!I disabled cha1 fan and cpu fan but still i get the error! The option for removing that alarm IS NOT IN BIOS!Well its a beta bios....
I will try what daddy said!

I have a problem:
In bios the CPU Vcore is set tu 1,475 but in win i get 1,5!Anyone know why it does this?

I wonder if the A8N-SLI bios is setup differently than the Deluxe one?
I replaced the chipset fan with a heatsink, and I've never had an error about the fan speed.
I even have the "Halt On Errors" enabled

I think its a bios issue. I never got any of the messages with any of the 1003 bios. For me it just started with 1004.001

Thanks GuitarDaddy, that took care of it! :)
