A8N-SLI BIOS 1004 and Cool and Quiet

I had cool and quiet working with BIOS 1003.

I update the BIOS and no cool and quiet.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this.

My config -
A8N-SLI Deluxe, AMD64 3500 (90 nm)
2 GB (4 X 512) Corsair 3200 XL (2-2-2-5)
MSI NX6600GT (TD128E) Video
200 GB Seagate SATA
300 GB Maxstor SATA
600 GB Raid 0 Seagate SATA
Antec NeoPower 480
Cooling
Zalman CNPS7000B-CU CPU Cooler
Zalman VF700-CU VGA Cooler
Zalman ZM-NB47J Northbridge Cooler

Go to Settings>Control Panel>Power Options and select profile "Minimal Power Management" and Cool&Quiet should work immediately!

I tried that and it did not work. Very strange.

Just setup Cool N Quiet tonight on my DFI NF4 Ultra. The walkthrough I found said to change the Power Options profile, but it also mentioned installing a driver from AMD's site. "AMD Athlon? 64 Processor Driver for Windows XP, Version (exe) 1.1.0.18"

(and of course enabling in your BIOS).

But you probably already know this.

Thanks. I will try it again. I have this driver installed. I really wonder if it is an issue with BIOS 1004.
