A8N-E weirdness

I'm using this with an Athlon X2-4400. BIOS and drivers all up to date. The problem is pretty simple to explain. The FSB seems stuck at 201.5 MHz (making the processor 2216.5 MHz). I can overclock in the BIOS, which reports higher speeds and fails if I press too hard, but nothing seems to change in Windows. I've tried setting to 200 manually also but it won't go down. I'm not an expert at this so I have the feeling there's maybe something simple I'm overlooking...
 
I'm running stock and I've noticed that my A8N-E is booting up at 201.0 or 201.5MHz too. They're probably OC'ing slightly on purpose to get ahead in reviews.

BTW, are you running Windows XP? If so, could you tell me what your Peak Commit Charge is and how much RAM you have? It's in Task Manager under Performance; hit Ctrl+Alt+Del to get there. I have 2GBs of RAM, and for some reason, my Peak Commit Charge boots up showing 1812604 (roughly 1.8GBs) each time I boot. The computer is completely stable, but the Peak Commit Charge thing sure is odd.
 
Thanks for your input Gerbil. Overclocking a bit to get ahead in benchmarks makes sense, but I wonder why increasing the FSB in the BIOS has no effect either. I just tried Ntune, and I can change the FSB under Windows using that. But it only lasts for that session so its not a good substitute.

I only have 1 GB but I checked the Peak Commit Charge and it shows about 431 MB. I don't know whether that's good or not. Wish I could be of more help to you. I was thinking of getting another 1 GB myself.
 
Oh, so increasing the FSB in the BIOS isn't actually increasing the FSB? I haven't messed with it.

431MBs sounds normal. I don't know why mine is doing that...
