Hello Guys,

About two weeks ago I bought Two Asus A8N-E from Zipzoomfly, and as i was expecting they came with the tornado noisy crappy chipset fan. I've been reading than a lot of you have opted for buying a new cooler or requesting the replacement by calling to asus. for starting I'm going to do the last thing.so, What i need to know is how long does the shipping take to arrive to Houston, TX?..and is this phone number right 502-995-0883?..and do i have to pay something for the shipping?
in other words. i need you to tell me the best effective way to get both HS fan on my hands. Because i'll travel this saturday and i want'em by then...

Thanks in advance.

Do u think us chipset fan is loud? iI've had my a8n for about a month now and it doesn't bother me a bit. No one except asus will know how long it will take u to get a replacement. I would guess anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, hard to say. I think that is the right phone number, it does start with 502.... Thats in Louisville Kentucky (u know where they actualy speak English, unlike India). I have called Asus before and asked for a free part and sure enough I got in a week or so free shipping and everything.

If you really want a replacement u might tell them urs died, it might be the only way to get it fo free.

You'll eventually end up going with a Zalman NB47J and Papst or Panaflo 40mm fan when the replacement dies, but for now you might as well get them to send it. I got the Zalman the first time around to save some hassle of removing the motherboard a second time. 😉
