I have just built this system for a friend.

I have put it all together and pressed the on/off button the Zalman fan spins up the light comes on on the DVD writer and that's it. NO beep, nothing on the screen. the fans still spin etc. etc. but no post beep or anything on the screen :|

Has anybody else had this problem or can recommend how I can get over it 😕

The other thing is, the friend has stated that they did not want a floppy drive fitted as they had a USB one that they would use as and when they needed to. I have read the forums and there seems to be a problem with booting from the SATA drive. any recommdations please 😕

Are you able to swap out parts with your own PC? Try swapping out the RAM, video card or anything else. What power supply are you using? There are compatibility issues with the Antec NeoHE.

As for the SATA needing floppies, if you connect your SATA drive to the nVidia ports instead of the Silicon Image ports, you will NOT need to load any special drivers during Windows setup.
