I got a 2500 XP-M. Its is running at 43c under load @ 14x168. Does anyone know if I run Dual Channel or run period with 4 sticks of ram on the A7V880?

Bust out your owner's manual and read the section about memory :)

Whats the question?

2 stix are better then 1 (dual channel)
2 stix are better then 3
2 stix are better then 4 (should never run 4 stix overclocking, or ever really, unless your not overclocking and there 4x1gb sticks)

I have the same board. I am running a plain ol' Barton XP2500+ at XP3200+ speed.

Can you change the mulitplier on that chip with your mainboard?

According to the manual, the A7V880 will support Dual Channel with all 4 slots filled. Caveats apply. As JohnDoh pointed out, more stix, more issues. Horse trade until you get a good matching set of decent DIMMS.

I am dying to know if this board will allow the XP Mobile to change multipliers.

Yes u can change multiplers. default for 2500 would be 13.5 x 133, mine is running at 14 x 166. If I had pc 3200 ram I could do 12 x 200..
