a7v880 overclocking

ok so here's my deal.... i am trying to overclock my amn althlon 3000 which is detected as a 2800 right now

here's the settings i have right now:
cpu multiplier: 10.5
FSB: 200
vcore: auto

here's my problem... even tho all the settings are correct for my processor, it still doesn't detect it as a 3000. i would like to overclock it anyhow but every time i change the cpu multiplier it restarts, but doesn't post. then i shut the computer off and turn it on and the bios is reset to factory defualts

i flashed the bios once and it is the latest thing on the asus site

computer specs:
amd athlon 3000
512mb pc2100 RAM
asus a7v880 motherboard

if someone can help me on this, it would be greatly appreciated
 
i would like to find a way to change the multiplier tho so i can overclock... can i get a hacked bios or something?
