What is this I've been hearing about the A7V333's "Jumperless" mode? Is this just as good as not setting any jumpers manually?

A lot of motherboards nowadays are jumperless. It just means that many of the options that used to be manipulated by jumpers (e.g. clock multiplier, FSB, voltages, etc.) can now be changed in the BIOS. It's a nice feature especially for overclockers who are constantly tweaking their systems.

Though I am not the thread starter I know that many boards now have few or no jumpers on them and can be all adjusted within the bios setup. However I have not heard of this jumperless 'mode' for the ASUS A7V333 that has quite a few jumpers to use.

I think Asus just calls it jumperless "mode" because they still give you the option of using jumpers. On my Asus, there's a jumper you can set to switch between jumperfree and jumper mode.
