A7V266E and 1900+ core voltage?

I did a few searches and everyplace I checked said that all the XP's had a core voltage of 1.75. Mine fluctuates between 1.84 and 1.85 (Hardware Monitoring in Bios and also in Asus Probe under XP). I made sure that CPU Default was jumpered for the voltage on the MB and that the CPU type was jumpered to palomino.

The thing that amazes me is that the bios only has 1.800, 1.825 and 1.850 as available options and no matter which one is set it always shows in red on the side this message that sez something like 'Using a non default vcore setting can increase the chance that your cpu may be damaged'

What core voltages are you seeing on your A7V266E and 1900+ setups?

Welcome to the world of ASUS. Same thing happens with my A7V266. Lovely isn't it? I think I'd have to unlock my CPU to get it to run smooth, but instead I went back to an Iwill.

Its normal for most mobo to add between 0.05-0.1v to the vcore set for improve stability.

On the setting available in ur bios...hmm...could be a function of the vcore controller chip on this mobo.
