a7v266-e mobo question

when checking the current heatsink and removing the pin my screwdriver accidentally hit my mobo...

no noticable damage, but i noticed a very small chunk of some small "brick-shaped" element came down. Maybe like 1/5th of it- it's very small anyhow, cant see without magnification. Everything seems to work fine i just dont know- i guess there is no real way to check whether something is damaged right?

Does anyone maybe know where i can find an electronic scheme of this board so i can check what i could've hit? Asus website is down... as usual,....

Thanks a lot

I put a nice scratch doing just that on my Asus board, this was a couple of months ago.. so far so good. All I did was boot up, it worked so I figured I was okay. Still though, it might be some part that rarely gets used, I don't know much about the workings of motherboards (cept what I need to know 😉 )
I think you should be okay if it all works alright.

Thnx for reassurance🙂

Hope it will work fine (spit spit spit) -though i will assume that on boot up the whole mobo gets checked-so if no mistakes- it's ok then🙂-i guess

Now, off to kill the imbeciles who designed socket a retention clips😛
