Anyone know where to turn off the feature where the motherboard searches for the ultra100 bios? I have my setup not using the raid ide channels and I believe this is why I have to wait aobut 5 secs for it to not detect.
 
It is in the bios and is named disable onboard ata controller. I believe you need a bios of 1005 or greater to have this option listed in bios. I recommend the 1006 bios.
