I just built my first pc using:

Duron 650 @948 with fsb @145 and FOP38
128 Mosel Vitalic RAM
A7V133
Geforce2 GTS 32MB
IBM 75 GXP

I'm pretty happy considering I didn't even own a pc before. Everything seems to be working alright so far; however, when I set my ram settings in the bios to 7ns my motherboard detects only 64mb of ram. I don't understand. I want the ram to run at 2-2-2, but can't get it to work. Maybe it's just a stupid newbie question, but I'd appreciate the help.

BTW- The RAM is in slot 1.

I was able to boot into Windows @ 1050mhz but it was unstable as could be any suggestions for this too.

Though you didn't specify the type of RAM I am assuming 133 CAS 2. The fact that you can't run this at CAS 2 at 145 may very well be that the RAM is not capable of that setting. Try at CAS latency 3 and see if that works.

This seems to be a problem directly related to Mosel and Mushkin Rev2.... With the 1002A BIOS some wacky things happen at 2-2-2..... it only detects SOME of the memory. Switch back to BIOS 1001D, 1002A enables some memory option that the Mosel + Mushkin Rev2 just DONT like.
